GLM Rewards Program April Update

We love the end of each month because the monthly round of the GLM Rewards Program finishes and we get to give back to individuals engaging in the project and community in various ways. The amount of community activity in April was truly enjoyable. We had a nice turnout to the April Reddit AMA, which ended with a great combination of fun and challenging questions for the Golem team to answer (find the summary here). We also had some of the highest activity ever in the Golem Discord with multiple days reaching over 700 messages of community discussion.

This month is the bi-monthly set of the GLM Rewards Program that also includes the Super User and Task Force General categories so let's dive into it!

GLM Rewards Program Spotlight - Awesome Golem

We can’t stress enough that we love having the Golem community getting engaged and helping others on the path of starting to use Golem for the first time. One of the items on our 20-year roadmap is that we want to have the project be able to flourish in directions that we can’t predict and for the community to have a wealth of knowledge to lead initiatives and ideas that they feel has value.

On our (Golem Factory) side we started Awesome Golem as a place for anyone in the community to add to the list of resources they feel would be useful. Dedicated community member stelballe has been working on collecting Frequently Asked Questions that he’s noticed on Discord and Reddit to add to Awesome Golem. He’s also started working on trying to format them better, for example, using MkDocs. If you happen to have an interest in the area and want to get involved in the Golem community you could always contribute to the Golem project by giving stelballe a helping hand. 😉

Wrapping Up

Don’t miss the Golem Hackathon Show & Tell coming up later today where we invite you to join us and the winners of the Golem + Gitcoin GR9 Hackathon winners. Feel free to get involved and ask the presenters some questions.

Remember that it’s easy to get started with the GLM Rewards Program by being active where the Golem community is discussing and interacting. The Golem team is often active in the Discord, /r/GolemProject and /r/GolemTrader on Reddit, Telegram and announcements channel. Or create some cool Golem integration on Github and share it with us via email. If you have ideas then the best place for community involvement is to bring it up would be the community Discord, see you there!

Note: the GLM Rewards Program requires KYC and is an opt-out program.
